Each generation has its own culture. Especially millennials vs boomers. This feud is what fascinated me in my artistic endeavor. I'm a millennial and create works about social media and technology which goes with my generation. I make paintings of memes or online jokes and references. My work is made of India ink and painted on watercolor paper. They are minimalist and have vibrant colors. Creating paintings that speak to my generation as its own secret language. It acts as an inside joke for people who are part of social media. The baby boomers that see my work are left confused.
